— THE ACTOR —
Miguel began his professional acting career in 6th grade as a cast member of City Theatre's Summer Shorts Festival. When he realized he could get paid for doing what he loved, the rest was history. Later that year, he was cast in the lead role for the senior thesis film Innersight at Florida State University.
After studying theater at Coral Reef Senior High School, Miguel booked several local, national, and international commercials for Sprite (with LeBron James), Virgin Voyages (with Jennifer Lopez), Sony Electronics, Café Bustelo, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Pollo Tropical, and more. His most recent commercial features him as the JetBlue representative for their new Paisly travel services.
At 20 years old, Miguel made his national television acting debut with the guest starring role of ‘Lil Top’ on the USA Network series, Graceland, as a volatile young drug dealer. A year later, Miguel’s life changed as he starred in the international Nickelodeon series Talia in the Kitchen for 40 episodes as the comical villain, Frenchie Fuccinelli. Audiences around the world fell in love with the show as Miguel fell in love with acting on television.
In 2019, Miguel wrote, produced, and starred in his own cabaret show, titled A Birthday Cabaret, that featured monologues and stories of his life up until the age of 25. The cabaret featured songs from Broadway musicals and his favorite recording artists, all intertwined with tales of his life (so far.) After three sold out performances at Ted’s at YoungArts, the show came back for an encore performance a month later to a packed house.
His film resume includes a role in the MiMo Studios’ film The Kid Who Only Hit Homers (streaming on Prime Video) and Dare to Say Yes.
In the summer of 2024, Miguel was one of the lead actors in Mother’s Love, a SAG-AFTRA short film. The film is in post-production currently and will be sent out to different festivals and competition.
Onstage, Miguel recently starred as the iconic ‘Emcee’ in Loxen Productions’ Cabaret in Miami Florida, directed by Broadway producer Benjamin Leon IV.
